Here is a mood board of a few faux queens which i have researched up on.

The construction of a mask can be as simple as putting a mask onto the face to a full face of makeup, but the meaning behind the mask is whats important.

When a man or a woman uses a mask, its normlly to change the identity of  the individual, there are many reasons why someone would want to change there idnetity, from having lowself esteem, or they feel that they arent in the right body. When a mask is used, the original face can completly change an individuls persona and how they come across to the enviroment around them.

There are many groups of people who use makeup as a mask to create a new identity, some to create a whole new person.

Drag queens and Faux queens are known for wearing over the top makeup and crazy clothes. There makeup is very extravegant and wild. This is my initital thought on an idea for my FMP.

Men dresssed as women is now seen as acceptable in society and it gives them a sense of relieve to feel part of the everyday society.

Then after looking closely at drag queens, i noticed another branch of the drag queen name Faux Queen......

A faux queen is a woman dressed as a man dressed as a woman, they arent accpeted in many of the social events the drag queens are associated with. It can be seen as a drag queen trapped in a womans body.
